🎃 Halloween in Cornwall 2025 – things to do and see


📅 From 11 October -1 November / the half term warm up..

  • Pumpkin Fest at Camel Creek (Wadebridge PL27 7RA)
    (weekends until 22nd, then daily during half term). Huge pumpkin patch + rides included. Every child gets a pumpkin – whilst stocks last.
    Check out one of my videos on Camel Creek, which is Cornwall’s only theme park, and well worth a visit.  They also have camping and glamping facilities.

  • Bedruthan Hotel Spooktastic Halloween Experience & Afternoon Tea (Newquay TR8 4BU) – finishes 31 October.
    Spooky treats with a sea view. I went to their afternoon tea over Easter which was a bit quirky. Hoping for the same weird and wonderful set up at Halloween.

📅 From 18 October –  02 November

  • Trebah Garden Plants and Potions (TR11 5JZ)
    Hunt around the garden for herbal and magical ingredients, make imaginary potions, prize at the end.  Trail costs £2 each. 

📅 Saturday 25 October

  • Newquay Zombie Crawl (TR7 1BD)
    Parade at 3 pm + workshops/trail all day – a Halloween trail runs through Newquay for most the week as well

📅 Saturday 25 October – 2 November

  • Newquay Fun Park “Scarefest” (TR8 5AA)
    Rides with a spooky twist, held at the old Dairyland Site

  • Pendennis Castle Ghost School & Tales (Falmouth TR11 4LP)
    Interactive stories and a quest, solve clues and listen to spooky stories, silly monster school. This event is included in the member price, but if not you can book early online and save 15%. Entry is usually included if you own a Cornish Heritage Trust card, but check the Pendennis Castle website as extra fees may apply.

  • National Maritime Museum Cornwall (Falmouth TR11 3QY)
    Silhouettes and shadows – puppet stories and music show at 11am, 1pm and 3pm daily. , plus make and take crafts & spooky trail included in the ticket.  Also on Friday 31st October there is a Halloween evening –  see below.

  • Eden Project – Zog & The Flying Doctors (Par PL24 2SG)
    You get to meet Zog! Potions, quest, pumpkins and challenges

  • Paradise Park Halloween Trail (Hayle TR27 4HY)
    Halloween trail, crafts. Marks Ark – animal encounters, 10am-12.30pm on 26, 28, 31 October.  Also 1pm-3.30pm on 27 and 30 October.
  • Squashbox Theatre “Shivers & Shadows” (Various locations)
    I’m a big fan of Squashbox! Check their website for dates as there are various shows.

📅 Sunday 26 October

  • Kernow Killer Obstacle Course (Scorrier House, Redruth TR16 5AU)
    2.5k / 5k / 10k Halloween mud run. Sign up in advance.
    One for the sport lovers. I’d be happier to watch this one.


📅 Monday 27- 31 October 

  • Trerice House (National Trust TR8 4PG)
    Dragon-themed Halloween fun. Storytelling, Halloween themed games
    ring half term as Trerice transforms into a mythical realm of fire-breathing wonder.

📅 Wednesday 29 October

Alpaca’s at Moor view Alpaca’s

  • Alpaca Trekking Halloween Experience (Moor View Alpacas, Liskeard PL14 6SD) Spooky potion making (one to take home) slime making with a mad scientist, cauldron hunt, petting farm. Includes entrance to the cat cafe on site.
  • Trebah Garden Creepy Crawly ZooLab (TR11 5JZ)
    Bug handling + spooky nature fun. Fee applies for non members (children) as well as members.  Adults with a membership are free. 

📅 Friday 31 October – Halloween!

  • Hal‘owl’een at Screech Owl Sanctuary (St Columb TR9 6HP)
    Fancy dress, pumpkin carving, owl encounters.

  • Fireworks at Lappa Valley (Newquay TR8 5LX)
    31 Oct & 1 Nov. Park by day, fireworks at night. Pre book for this one.

  • Bodmin Jail Halloween Events (Bodmin PL31 2NR)
    One for the older kids – over various dates. Multiple tours: Go Darker, Ghost Walk, Overnight Investigation. If you fancy a stay at Bodmin Jail hotel as well, you can read more about the hotel and experience here.

  • National Maritime Museum Cornwall (Falmouth TR11 3QY)
    A chance to see the Museum after normal hours as well as in the day! Form 4pm to 6.30pm.  Mythical Cornish Tales and Storytelling, crafts/make and take, and a spooky Cornish trail. 

📅 Saturday 1 November
